Sara Y. Rubinfeld is an experienced development professional with expertise in Jewish communal fundraising. Throughout her career, Sara has been instrumental in strengthening development efforts across multiple institutions.
In 2017, she moved from supporting Jewish community institutions to Jewish education, when she was named Development Manager at Magen David Yeshivah in Brooklyn, NY. At MDY, she pioneered a robust development infrastructure that continues to support the school’s mission today. Following this, Sara joined Yeshivah of Flatbush, as Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. One of her most notable accomplishments in this position was spearheading the school’s first-ever Alumni Giving Day. Her passion for engaging alumni and cultivating a culture of philanthropy continues to be a hallmark of her approach. Most recently, Sara served as Alumni Engagement Manager at SAR High School in the Bronx, NY, where she focused on building a more dynamic and inclusive alumni network.
Sara’s work centers around community-building and creating sustainable financial frameworks that ensure the success and growth of the organizations she serves.
In addition to her professional roles, Sara currently serves on the Development Committee of Bicultural Hebrew Academy in Stamford, CT, where her children are enrolled. She holds a B.A. in History from the State University of New York - University at Buffalo and an M.P.A from the City University of New York - Baruch College, where she specialized in Nonprofit Management.
She resides in Stamford, Connecticut with her husband, Yonnie, and their two children, Abigail and Benjamin. They also have two rescue pets: their dog, Tucker and cat, Pumpkin.
